Our Offer for Schools

Do you have a school group looking to experience an exciting water-based activity? Look no further than our fun paddleboard program based at our base in beautiful Coppet Hall, Saundersfoot. Our program offers engaging and entertaining paddleboard lessons that are sure to capture the hearts and minds of all who participate! With our program, your students will have the chance to build confidence and encouragement in the water, while also pushing their limits with their friends. Safety is our top priority, which is why we split school groups into smaller teams of 8-16 children for optimal supervision while also offering additional activities beyond paddleboarding like surf life saving, balance games and more. We have been working with school groups since 2016 and earned our own AALA certificate in 2019, ensuring that our program is both safe and fun!

Over the last six years, we have had the privilege of providing our services to more than 3000 children across various school groups from Pembroke Dock and Saundersfoot. Our sessions are designed to last 90 minutes of pure water-based fun and excitement for these young adventurers.

At our paddleboard activity workshops, we encourage active participation from both children and adults. To meet this goal, we offer a special package whereby one teacher goes free for every group. This ensures that the children under their care get quality attention and instruction, and the teachers enjoy the experience without worrying about the expense.

At our workshops, safety is our top priority, and we ensure that all participants are well equipped with the required safety gear and supervised by our experienced instructors. Come join us, and let’s build a memorable experience for your school group!

Paddleboarding for School groups

What to expect in a lesson

What's included

Wetsuit

You will get either a shorty or a full wetsuit depending on the weather. We also have wind vests if it's really cold. If you prefer to wear your own wetsuit that's fine too.

What you need to bring

Dry towel

We recommend to bring a dry towel with you as you might get wet during the lesson.

Buoyancy aid

Children under the age of 18 have to wear a buoyancy aid. Everybody else can wear one if they want to but it's not mandatory.

Drinking water

We can't bring water with us during the lesson except on the SUP Safari. But it's advisable to have water ready at the end of the lesson.

Paddleboard & Paddle

All our paddleboards are inflatable. This is safer in a teaching environment as people are less prone to hurt themselves when they fall on the board.

Sun protection

Even though it might not seem very sunny sometimes sun protection is still advisable as you will be spending a lot of time on the water.
